The Wiley Protocol® Lunar Calendar to be used by women who Start the Wiley Protocol® without a Regular Cycle or are missing their Uterus. Using this method means cycling with the moon.
Women have a cycle driven by the waxing and waning faces of the moon’s light. Logically this is called a Lunar Cycle. Before artificial light after dark changed the circadian rhythms of those of us exposed to light bulbs, all animals including women cycled together simultaneously as they now still do in remote un-electrified areas of the world.

The relationship between the moon's cycles and menses is so fundamental that the two phenomena are related linguistically. The terms 'moon' and 'menstruation' share the same Latin or Greek root, m-, meaning 'to measure.' Various world religions and cultures have acknowledged the bond between women and the moon. Traditional Chinese Medicine links the moon with the feminine, or yin principle. Jewish tradition dictates that women should celebrate Rosh Chodesh, the new moon. Many cultures have assigned the moon a goddess, from Babylonian Ishtar to Greek Artemis .
Women have been using the moon as a tool to keep track of their cycles from time immemorial. In fact, it’s possible that the first calendars sprung into being, as a result of women keeping track of the moon and their menstrual cycles. Chinese women established a lunar calendar 3000 years ago, dividing the celestial sphere into 28 stellar 'mansions' through which the moon passed.
Among the Maya of Central America every woman knew the great Maya calendar had first been based on her menstrual cycles. The year is comprised of 13 lunar months (of 28 days) to make 364 days, plus one day to spare. When Christianity came into being, diminishing old pagan ways and beliefs, the lunar calendar made way for the Roman Solar or Julian Calendar that most Western Societies followed until now. We now follow a Gregorian Calendar. The reason that months are changeable in length - 28, 29, 30 or 31 days is because depending on which month it is, the moon and her phases no longer fit so neatly into the system because it takes thirteen to come out even.
Because of this, and the fact many of us live in cities, women don't pay attention to the moon and its cycles any more. Young girls and women bleed each (lunar) month without making the connection to the moon. Your period is affected by the moons movement. How it does so could be with light, ionization, electromagnetic energy and gravity. The moon ebbs and flows, so do you, therefore charting your menstrual cycle using the moon is a natural thing to do. When women live together in a common space, their bodies begin to regulate their menses and all will eventually have their Moon Time or period concurrently. This natural rhythm is one of the bonds of being female.

Native American (Lakota): "Follow your Grandmother Moon. Her illuminating cycles will transform your spirit." Begin with the Grandmother Moon at her brightest and most open. This is a time of outward activity and high energy. Sleep where the moonlight touches you. Walk outside where there are no artificial lights. Feel joy and creativity. As the Grandmother begins to cover her face, begin to withdraw into a quieter, less social place. Move to that inward place that is more about "being" than "doing." In the dark of the moon, when bleeding, the veil between you and the Great Mystery is the thinnest. Be receptive to visions, insights, intuitions. Go to a quiet separate place such as a Moon Lodge. Later, come out of the dark, a woman with a cleansed body. As the moon returns, come back out into the world, carrying your vision.”
