Harvard Medical researchers have studied 542 male motor freight workers, average age 49 years, to determine how sleep adequacy and workplace experiences influence people's food choices. The method used to collect this data was from a baseline survey and assessment of permanent employees at eight trucking terminals.
The researchers concluded that adequate sleep is associated with more healthful food choices.
